Berkshire: Furniture business moves to new home following HSBC UK funding
Danetti, an independent interior furniture business in Bracknell, has purchased and is renovating its new commercial premises after securing a seven-figure funding package from HSBC UK.
The 16,000 sq ft facility will allow the company to showcase its range of contemporary furniture on the ground floor which includes a 6000 sq ft retail space. This is the companies first UK showroom; the premises will also facilitate the companies expansion. Currently employing 35 staff, Danetti hopes to create 40 new jobs over the next three years.
Daniel Smith, founder and managing director of Danetti, said: “The Danetti story began locally, so it’s fantastic to be able to continue to grow the brand in Berkshire. As a contemporary lifestyle brand, we see opening the first showroom as a key growth move for the company and we are excited about the opportunity to offer an aspirational and retainable experience where our customers can interact with our products in a physical store. This is a pivotal time for the business as it goes through an exciting growth phase, and the support from HSBC UK ensures we can maximise all the opportunities available to the brand and, most importantly, champion our exclusive designs. We’re delighted to now be welcoming customers to our first-ever showroom and are excited to keep growing the team as a result.”
Ian Nash, HSBC UK’s area director for business banking in Thames Valley, said: “Danetti, an independent British retailer has fast established itself as a national furniture brand, so we were pleased to help the business facilitate its first retail showroom and new head office in Berkshire especially during this time. As consumers continue to seek quality, locally sourced products, the new showroom comes at an opportune time for Danetti to further enhance its market presence.”
