Chandler's Ford: Female business leaders invited to Blake Morgan work-life event
Law firm Blake Morgan is bringing together female business leaders from across the Solent on May 29 for an event focusing on how to achieve a better work-life balance while performing under pressure.
The expert speaker panel will explore lessons female leaders can learn from the sporting community, practical tools to manage pressure and stress while performing at peak, and steps employers can take to ensure the wellbeing and development of their high performing women.
Keynote speakers will be:
- Zoe Saynor: Harlequins rugby player and senior lecturer in physical activity, exercise and health at the University of Portsmouth
- Aduke Onafowokan: Founder of The Sister Sister Network and director of Thrive Consulting and Thrive Properties International
- Kath Shimmin: Partner in the banking and finance team at Blake Morgan and the firm’s ‘gender champion’
Registration to attend the event, which will take place at Blake Morgan’s Southampton office in Chandler’s Ford, can be made on the Blake Morgan website. Light refreshments will be served on arrival, followed by presentations from the expert panel, a Q&A and an opportunity for networking with other women business leaders.
Kath Shimmin said: “Achieving the right work-life balance as a woman in business can be a challenge, but it’s not impossible. That’s why we’re bringing together some of the most influential and inspiring female leaders on the south coast to share their experiences on maintaining a good balance while performing under pressure. We’re delighted to have Zoe and Aduke speaking at the event and look forward to hearing how they’ve achieved success in the worlds of sport and property.”
