Rapid Response Medical Services, a leading ambulance service has chosen Westcott Venture Park as its Bucks business operational HQ.

The company is a leading CQC registered ambulance service and medical training academy providing emergency and non-emergency ambulance services to the private sector and NHS and has facilities in Cannock, Stanstead and Norwich. Rapid Response will be opening a new facility at Westcott to facilitate a new contract with the NHS.

A 10-year lease on 11,250 sq ft of industrial space with offices at Unit C Building 4000 has been agreed with Park owners PATRIZIA.  Rapid Response opened its new facility on 1st April following a full fit-out of its new home.

Nigel MacKenzie, Development Manager said: “We are delighted to welcome Rapid Response Medical Services to Building 4000 which is now home to two healthcare sector businesses. This is the final letting within our new development with all units let prior to completion of construction work.

“We are very proud of what has been achieved at Westcott over the last few years, and this has been reflected in the high calibre occupiers we have attracted and retained on the site.”

Mitchell Johnson, Director of Ambulance & Clinical Services at Rapid Response Medical Services Ltd explains: “We chose to base Rapid Response at Westcott due to its location and the newly developed modern building which had sufficient parking for our ambulance vehicles. Our facility is set within beautiful grounds which greatly benefits the welfare of our crews, and the site security protection is a huge bonus.”

This is the final letting within Building 4000 with Units A and B pre let to the Satellite Applications Catapult’s In Orbit Space Manufacturing and a Healthy Living Laboratory operations.

The new Building 4000 development is a result of investment by industry and government, together with a £3.7m outlay from Westcott owners PATRIZIA Hanover PUT, which enabled a matched funding grant of £2m, from the Getting Building Fund (GBF) through the Buckinghamshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).  Building 4000 is centrally located at the junction of Wellington Drive and Avenue A at Westcott, on the A41 between Aylesbury and Bicester.

Westcott Venture Park is a 650-acre business park, home to over 80 businesses employing over a thousand people with major occupiers including OneWeb, BAe Systems, Airbus and Nammo UK.
