Bracknell-based Cawood, a UK independent provider of analytical laboratory testing services for the land-based industries, has acquired independent testing laboratory Chemtech Environmental.
The addition of Chemtech expands Cawood’s waste testing, soil analysis, and environmental contamination testing services, extending its capacity and capability in these areas.
‘We are looking forward to continuing to provide fast, accurate, and reliable reporting to our customer base as well as working together to grow both our businesses,’ added John Campbell, Co-Owner and Director of Chemtech.
Formed in 2006, Cawood is an independent scientific group based in Bracknell. It provides laboratory analysis for the agriculture, food, infrastructure and environmental sectors, as well as contract research to GLP standards to support the development of agrochemicals, biocides and other chemicals. With a turnover of over £40 million, the group employs 500 people across nine sites and completes almost ten million analytical tests every year.
