Gerrards Cross: B P Collins celebrates golden anniversary
Over 200 clients and guests, including Olympic gold-medal winner Adrian Moorhouse and the firm’s founder Brian Collins, recently attended B P Collins’ celebration of its 50th anniversary which was held at Hedsor House in Buckinghamshire.
Guests viewed a specially-commissioned sculpture by Alain Kurylo, made from sustainable materials to reflect the theme of the anniversary, 'Made to Last'; they were entertained with live music from 'The Revue' and dancers 'Swing Patrol'; and were served specially-created B P Collins cocktails.
Collins said: “For the past 50 years B P Collins has been providing high-quality legal advice to individuals and businesses alike. The firm’s corporate department was voted the best provincial corporate department in the country in 2015.”
Ian Hopkins, chief executive of B P Collins, added: “The UK has changed dramatically over the past 50 years and B P Collins has been advising clients every step of the way – not least in 1973 when the UK joined the EU. And now, as we embark on our departure, B P Collins will undoubtedly provide the same level of advice and reassurance that our clients need, to help them navigate their personal and business matters through these unprecedented times.”
Since 1966, the firm has advised people and businesses across Buckinghamshire, the Thames Valley and London. It now has over 110 people working at the firm, including 13 partners and 50 lawyers based in Gerrards Cross. In addition, B P Collins is a great supporter of charities and other organisations in the Thames Valley area.”
