Newbury's first ever build to rent development set to launch

Grainger is expanding its portfolio of properties by launching its first Build to Rent property in Newbury with a new residential development.

Located in the heart of Newbury, the Weaver’s Yard development of 232 homes will be delivered in multiple phases over 12 months with the first two buildings, comprising 34 homes, available from April 2022. Full completion of all buildings and 232 rental homes is anticipated in April 2023.

The ‘Build to Rent’ sector provides purpose-built rental homes as an alternative to building homes for sale.

Build to Rent developments typically include a range of additional resident amenity spaces, including resident lounges and co-working space, all included within the rent.

Owned and operated by landlord Grainger, the first homes at Weaver’s Yard offers a mix of properties, include one and two-bedroom apartments, along with two-bedroom duplexes.

Grainger offers a flexible tenancy option of up to three years.

The homes in phase one at Weavers Yard  launch with a monthly rental from £1050.
