Southampton: PwC completes temporary move to Oceana House
Professional services firm PwC has temporarily moved its South Coast practice to Oceana House in Commercial Road, Southampton, until summer 2016 while its office at Savannah House in Ocean Village is refurbished.
Ian Wishart, office senior partner at PwC Southampton, said: “Savannah House will undergo extensive refurbishment. Given the scale of the project it made sense to move to other premises, ensuring that there is no disruption for our clients or our people. We have taken the third floor of Oceana House which offers us a modern, open-plan space.”
PwC has over 250 partners and staff based at Savannah House, which have been heavily involved in the office redesign. The investment will create a flexible workspace, offering a more efficient and collaborative way for teams to work.
Wishart continued: “This is an exciting time for the Southampton office. This investment reaffirms our commitment to the region and follows our recent announcements of Julian Gray’s appointment, Anna Blackman’s admission to partner, as well as director, manager and senior manager promotions across the office this year. We will also be welcoming 15 new graduate joiners this month.
“We are dedicated to growing our practice in Southampton. Ocean Village offers a great location and the complex itself is currently experiencing new investment. In partnership with our people and the landlord, the modernisation of Savannah House will provide us with a space that supports our business today as well as future growth.”
