On October 25, Grant Thornton in the Thames Valley helped support national charity Wear it Pink in aid of Breast Cancer Care, a charity which is particularly meaningful for the firm with two members of staff suffering the disease.
Colleagues at Grant Thornton pulled together across all locations in the Thames Valley to show their support, going the extra mile by donating in advance, changing working days and baking cakes for a number of pink-themed activities.
The offices were set a combined target of £300 by midday which, if reached, partners Perry Burton and Jim Rogers would serve drinks dressed in a pink morphsuit and a variety of pink garments respectively.
The target was in fact more than doubled with funds raised totalling £660.
