Thames Valley: Boyes Turner advises Resonant Group on acquisition of PR business
Thames Valley law firm Boyes Turner has advised Resonant Group, a specialist in healthcare engagement, on the acquisition of OPEN Health’s PR business. It will be renamed Anthem Public Relations and work alongside Resonant’s existing brands, Bedrock Healthcare Communications and Origins Insights.
The acquisition allows Resonant Group to expand its client offering. A multidisciplinary team from Thames Valley firm Boyes Turner advised Resonant Group on the acquisition; Chris Dobson (pictured), a Corporate Partner at Boyes Turner led the team.
Dobson led the team supported by Corporate Solicitor Rachael Brenchley, Head of Technology Mark Blunden and Associate in the employment team Kate Harris.
David Youds, CEO and owner of Resonant Group, said: "As part of our client-focused strategic growth plan, we had planned to build or acquire a specialist health PR offer alongside our existing offerings of authentic, actionable patient insights and creative medical education, so this opportunity was very timely.
