Bringing the Reading and wider Thames Valley business community back together in person, this half-day conference will unveil development and business updates from some of the region's most important organisations, and discuss what the future is shaping up to look like for businesses, workplaces and day to day quality of life.
The Business Magazine will celebrate Reading and its business opportunities and will champion the strong regional economy. We will showcase the great services available in Reading, home to fast-growing companies in diverse sectors, from technology to professional services.
Progress with Crossrail, Elizabeth line set to open in 2022, the future of Heathrow and the rail spur to the airport from Reading; developments on open land south of the M4; the redevelopment of the Reading town-centre area opposite the station; the new business parks- all are encouraging signs of continued growth in the region.
The Reading 2030 conference is a celebration of Reading's position of being second only to London in economic contribution per worker in the UK and in the number of businesses per capita, as well as being the best place to start a business in the UK*.
With a senior audience of company directors, business owners, professionals and support agencies across the Thames Valley, there will be ample time for peer-to-peer networking and discussion.
The conference will be showcased and enhanced in The Business Magazine's special supplement on the development and success of the conurbation, to be published shortly after the event.
