The ‘excellent‘ Gateley team in Reading is led by ‘experienced and knowledgeable’ corporate practice head Andrew Peddie and head of commerce, technology and media Paul De Vince. Senior associates Mark Metcalfe and Sarah Souter also advised Connection Capital on the MBO of financial risk management advisory firm JCRA Group, with the assistance of Birmingham-based supervising partner Tom Durrant.

The ‘professional and commercial‘ insolvency department at Gateley in Reading covers liquidation and administration proceedings, bankruptcies, company voluntary arrangements, directors’ duties, restructurings and refinancing, as well as fraud investigations and security, lender and regulatory issues on a national and cross-border level.
‘Experienced and approachable‘ practice lead Nicola Kirk, supported by associate Carly Schiff, represented BDO as administrator in relation to the £27.7 million proceedings for a marine engineering services provider, and also assisted KPMG with the £4.5m liquidation and interest disposal of a leisure investment venture.
