The first new commercial units at the 550 acre Graven Hill residential development in Bicester are now being offered either to let or for sale on a long leasehold basis by White Commercial Surveyors. Construction is progressing well with the site, well known for being the subject of BBC’s series Grand Design The Street.

Graven Hill, the UK’s largest self and custom build residential development, is creating 1,900 new homes, set across a beautiful site at Bicester in Oxfordshire. Significant amenities planned include a pre-school nursery, a primary school (2.5 classes per year), recreational areas, sports pavilion, a pub/restaurant facility, a community centre and allotments; a number of offices and retail units with separate employment space are also being provided.

Self-builders moving into their custom homes are providing a unique and vibrant community with site events including picnics, BBQs, treasure hunts and seasonal events which are all well supported by the Graven Hill community.

The apartments where the new commercial units are located comprise four blocks, two of which are complete and the remaining two blocks due to be completed by end of March 2021 with occupants moving in thereafter.

There are four commercial units available vary in size from 1,270 sq ft to 2,935 sq ft and White Commercial are marketing them to let or for sale on a long leasehold basis.

Chris White managing director of White Commercial says “White Commercial Surveyors assisted the developer in the purchase of the site in 2013 and have played a major part in the initial stages of the schemes undertaken, with particular emphasis on the commercial components of the development. The commercial hub and centrepiece of Graven Hill is now ready for retail/office or other, and are located just opposite the new school which is due to be completed next year.

Bicester is a thriving expanding town and community boasting Bicester Village (with over 6 million visitors a year) and rapidly expanding residential and commercial facilities with 10,000 new houses planned to be built in the next 11 years. The town has excellent transport facilities by rail (2 stations including Bicester Village station) and by road with the M40, and has the historic city of Oxford close by.”

Full details of the properties are available from White Commercial.
