CG Fry & Son scoops job quality awards
Five site managers at Dorchester-based housebuilder CG Fry & Son have each won a National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Quality Award.
The company has now won awards for 15 consecutive years at both a regional and national level. The regional housebuilder, with developments across the southwest, saw site managers from Calne, Chagford, Newquay, Mere and Poundbury recognised for their hard work and dedication to deliver homes of exceptional quality.
Construction director Kevin Murch said: “This is a testament to the continued commitment from the entire teams that support them.’’
The NHBC Pride in the Job is one of the most highly regarded competition in the housebuilding industry. To win, site managers have to demonstrate dedication, passion, commitment and leadership to produce homes of exceptional quality. They are judged on consistency in achieving the highest standards of workmanship, excellent leadership skills, attention to detail across all aspects of their job, from the standard of workmanship to the welfare of their staff. They are also judged on interpretations of drawings and specifications, technical expertise and excellent health and safety controls.
This year’s five Quality Award winners will be put forward for a Seal of Excellence Award and a Regional Award in the Autumn.
