Hampshire-based precision engineering business RHH Franks has appointed a new sales director, John Atkins. The key appointment comes as the New Milton manufacturing firm celebrates its 60th trading year and is part of a long-term growth strategy and commitment to continual improvement.

WARM-WELCOME---Sales-Director-John-Atkins

From an early career in engineering to more than 20 years in business management and sales, Atkins brings his extensive experience across a range of sectors, including defence, aerospace and technology, to an already highly knowledgeable senior management team at RHH Franks.

His core role will be to help clients understand the firm’s end-to-end capabilities and specialisms with the aim of improving their own manufacturing efficiencies, lead times and cost-effectiveness.

Atkins will combine his skills and passion for effectively interpreting complex requirements to support new and existing clients for RHH Franks, working closely with the skilled engineering team to design and develop bespoke solutions.

Atkins said: “RHH Franks is renowned for the first-class service and quality it delivers to its clients and I am delighted to be joining such a pioneering business. The firm has already achieved immense success in the 60 years it has been trading and the positive feedback from the long list of global manufacturers it serves is testament to that.

“My responsibility is to support our clients ensuring that they understand how we can help them improve their supply chain with our complete range of manufacturing services and win new business on the very same basis.”

Managing director Elsa Hogan added: “We are extremely pleased to welcome John to the RHH Franks team and are confident that our clients will benefit from his positive, solution-oriented attitude and commitment to achieving their desired outputs on time and on budget.

“As we continue on our journey to revolutionise the business and improve our services to clients, it is important to not rest on our laurels and focus on not only enhancing the service we provide to our existing clients but also enable new clients to maximise their manufacturing efficiencies.”

Atkins will be based at the firm’s recently expanded 30,000 sq ft factory on the Gore Road Industrial Estate in New Milton, working alongside a 40-strong team who deliver exceptional manufacturing services to the global aerospace, defence, nuclear and marine industries.
