Bournemouth: Dutton Gregory partner becomes president of law society

Carol Maunder, a partner at Dutton Gregory Solicitors in Bournemouth, has been appointed president of the Bournemouth and district Law Society, succeeding Julie Pick.

She heads the firm’s negligence department and before qualifying as a solicitor worked as a cardiac technician. She believes this experience in the NHS helped her to understand better the complexities of putting together a successful clinical negligence case.
