Fareham: Amiri Construction makes three key appointments
Three experienced construction professionals have been recruited from Dorset-based firms to join the expanding team at Amiri Construction in Fareham.
John Marsh from Southbourne returns to Amiri after a four-year break as a senior quantity surveyor, to work on a project at Eastleigh College.
Richard Hampson from Bransgore becomes the company’s financial controller after various management accountancy roles over four years with McCarthy & Stone.
Heading furthest east is Kevin Green from West Parley who was a surveyor for nine years with a Hamworthy-based contractor and is working on a new £4-million headquarters building in Littlehampton.
Grahame Pettit, managing director of the £35m-turnover Amiri Construction, said that the new team members take the total staff to 37. “We continue to gain a variety of high-value projects within the industrial, educational and leisure sectors and I’m sure that our new team members will soon adjust to the change of longitude.”
