Hampshire: The Call Business celebrates expansion with promotions
A surge in demand of 31% for its multi-lingual telemarketing and business-development expertise has led The Call Business, based at Hedge End in Hampshire, to increase the scale of its operations and restructure its growing team through promotions.
The promotion of two key members to senior positions has been necessary to maintain exceptional service levels at a time of rapid growth which has seen new clients, keen to build relationships with new customers, joining from the manufacturing, technology and creative sectors.
Melanie Clarke, who joined the firm in mid-2014, has been promoted to client director; and Claire Grant, who has been with the company for two years, returns from maternity leave this month to a new position as client-service and quality manager.
Andi Catt, MD of The Call Business, commented: “Melanie and Claire have been instrumental to our success.”
She explained how the company operated: “We are not a call centre, we don’t cold call and we don’t use scripts. We have natural, authentic conversations with a firm’s prospective customers based on a good understanding of its product, its market and its offer.”
The Call Business provides multilingual business-development services and works with a number of clients headquartered in the UK which have global sales teams. The company has run campaigns across all five continents and currently supports more than 20 languages.
