Marlow: Moorcrofts appoints three new partners
Moorcrofts LLP Solicitors, which has moved to new larger offices in Marlow in the same business park as before, has appointed three new partners.
Peter Woolley will be joining the firm in July from a leading Reading firm as corporate partner, and will work with existing partners Adrian Phillips and Teri Hunter and the rest of the corporate team. He is an experienced corporate transactional lawyer and advises on all types of corporate transactions and reorganisations.
Ian Hylton, who has headed up the firm’s property department for the past three years as an associate solicitor, has been promoted to partnership. He has practised commercial property law since qualifying in 2006 and has extensive experience of both sales and acquisitions, and landlord and tenant matters. His clients include corporates, international clients, private clients, pension funds and banks.
His team has been strengthened by the appointment of Julia Ferguson, an experienced property lawyer, and of Anita Johnson, a paralegal who will serve the increasing client base.
Matthew Jenkin will be joining the firm as a partner and will head up the employment team, working alongside Nicola Whelan and Nick Bone. He is recognised as a leading employment lawyer with 20 years’ experience on advising employers and employees on all aspects of employment law.
