Solent: Trethowans celebrates string of promotions
Trethowans, the law firm with offices in Southampton, Salisbury and Poole as well as a base in Winchester, has made a number of promotions as its team continues to expand in its 150th year. The firm now employs more than 200 people.
As a result of the latest promotions Tom Hartigan and Bethany Blamire have been made partners.
Hartigan has worked for Trethowans for 15 years, having joined as a paralegal and worked his way up the ladder to become personal injury team leader. Based in the Salisbury office, he is also a trustee of brain-injury charity Headway.
Blamire, from the insurance-litigation team in Southampton, has been with Trethowans for five years. She is a member of the Law Society’s personal injury panel and has been listed in the prestigious Legal 500 list.
James Braund, who leads the firm’s personal injury services in the Poole office, and Rhiannon Daniel of the personal injury team in the Salisbury office, have been promoted to senior associates.
Kate Stovold from the Southampton office has been made an associate in the family team and Tom Mitchell an associate in the commercial property team.
Chris Whiteley, managing partner at Trethowans, said: “These latest promotions are an example of how the continued growth of the firm can provide opportunities for people to realise their career aspirations.”
