Strategic IT services provider Aura Technology has made two key appointments to further strengthen its team amid an ongoing recruitment drive.

Rhys Meale joins Aura as business development manager, and will be helping to grow the company’s relationships with mid-market businesses across the South and London. With a wealth of experience behind him, including four years at Taylor Made Computer Solutions, Meale is highly-regarded for his expertise in customer service and business partnerships.

Dan Cooper joins Aura as an engineer, working alongside the company’s existing technical team to help support the company’s rapidly-growing client base. Cooper brings to Aura a specialism in IT engineering spanning 20 years and has worked with a range of technology companies in the South.

Both appointments come as Aura, operating from offices in Ocean Village, Southampton, and Adam Street, London, looks to create 40 jobs over the next three years.

Aura launched in February, backed by a team of technology professionals with decades of experience. The company, led by Managing Director Tim Walker, works closely with businesses at senior level to make sure their IT provision is aligned to their business plans and goals.

Managing director Tim Walker said: “We are at the start of a significant phase of growth for Aura, so we are delighted to welcome two highly-respected technology professionals to the team. Their wealth of experience underlines Aura’s growing reputation as an innovator and leader in the managed services sector.”
