Southampton: Paris Smith appoints tax expert
A tax planning specialist in the south has joined expanding
Southampton lawyers Paris Smith & Randall.
David Bird’s areas of expertise are inheritance tax and capital gains tax planning, trusts and wills, with particular emphasis on succession planning for those who own and manage businesses and companies.

Nick Turner, who heads up the department dealing with tax and estate

Bird was a partner at the private client division of Thomas Eggar in
Chichester, which is the biggest legal firm in Sussex with 400-plus staff.
During his career he has worked for Wilsons in Salisbury and Osborne
Clarke and TLT in Bristol. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
