Winnersh: 'Profitability through gender diversity' briefing

Nicola McQueen, MD of Capita Resourcing and winner of the Women in Business Awards 2016 – board level and senior executive of the year - will speak on 'profitability through gender diversity' at a briefing next month. She will discuss her own experiences of diversity on boards and why she feels it is important at the Institute of Directors' briefing.
McQueen has worked in the HR and recruitment industry for 18 years, joining Capita as a recruitment consultant in 1999. By 2010 she was appointed as managing director of Capita Resourcing where she launched new services internationally and integrated strategic acquisitions.
In 2016 McQueen was appointed executive director of the workplace services division and appointed to Capita’s executive management board. Her role today includes overall responsibility and leadership of Capita’s HR and recruitment businesses, including a recruiting partnering project with the Ministry Of Defence to recruit into the British Army, as well as overseeing other major, large-scale recruitment contracts within central and local government, the nuclear industry and financial services.
