South East: Help for SME's to break into managed security services market
Influential tech advisory firm, TechMarketView, is working with Reading-headquartered cybersecurity solutions provider, Assuria, to help SMEs based in the UK and Ireland break into the fast-growing managed security services market.
Assuria is offering ambitious UK and Irish tech companies the chance to deliver comprehensive cybersecurity managed services to clients from their own security operations centre by joining Assuria’s partner network.
Cyber Security attacks are surging
Since co-founder and CEO Terry Pudwell launched Assuria 15 years ago, Assuria’s cybersecurity software solutions have helped over 1,000 organisations across 20 countries protect their IT infrastructure and reduce business risk, including defence, government and commercial enterprises, down to mid-size businesses and SMEs in almost every vertical sector. Assuria’s growing SOC partner network is now also helping to provide these benefits to mid-sized organisations and SME’s through delivery of highly effective managed security services.
“Cyber Security threats and attacks are surging,” noted Pudwell. “Even small businesses are now processing sensitive data. With personally identifiable information increasingly vulnerable to cyber threats, organisations without in-house security skills are turning to managed security service providers to protect them from cybersecurity attacks.”
Partner support
Tech companies joining Assuria’s partner network are given extensive support to plan, build and run their own security operations centre using Assuria’s full technology stack and MSSP business planning expertise. Assuria also helps partners close business, solve customer issues and provide whatever assistance is required to make the service a success.
“Our partner programme best suits tech SMEs already providing cybersecurity services or solutions to their customers, or which at least have a reasonable knowledge and appreciation of cybersecurity risks,” Pudwell explained. “We would also welcome other technology and communications managed services suppliers keen to expand into the cybersecurity managed services market”.
“We are delighted to be helping Terry Pudwell and the Assuria team find new partners,” said Anthony Miller, TechMarketView managing partner. “This is an outstanding opportunity for tech SMEs in the UK and Ireland to introduce a new, fast-growing, business-critical service to their existing operations.”
