Business Innovation South Expo aiming to be ‘a catalyst for collaboration’ 

The 2022 Business Innovation South Expo is aiming to foster collaboration within the STEM-driven industries of the South East.

The Business Innovation South Expo is an annual event for established companies within the science, technology, engineering and business innovation sectors in the south of England. It's also open to all STEM service providers and support businesses across the region.

The lead organiser of the expo says that growing interest in this year’s event will create 'a catalyst for collaboration’ across the tech sector in the south.

Lara Bull has already welcomed dozens of companies and organisations into the fold, all of which are keen to become involved in the yearly STEM showcase.

Lara said: “We have a genuine desire to showcase the south’s STEM and innovation companies and build a stronger, more connected and more collaborative community."

“We hope our contribution will inspire STEM-related companies to nominate themselves for an award or become a sponsor too, so shining a light on the innovation taking place in the South."

“The interest we are receiving both with the expo and our involvement in the awards are examples of us creating a catalyst for collaboration across the south. With so many current challenges facing companies, if we can provide a platform to showcase the huge variety of sectors and in turn support business being done within our region, we will be delighted.”

Jane Holt, Business Development Director at Southampton Science Park is also enthusiastic about this year's event, saying: “We have been proud to support Business Innovation South since its inception and look forward to participating again this year."

#BIS2022 will take place at Lakeside North Harbour in Portsmouth on Wednesday the 14th of September.
