Boyes Turner launches family law service with appointment of leading family lawyer

Thames Valley law firm Boyes Turner has appointed a leading family lawyer to head up its new family service.

Paul Linsell (pictured) has joined Boyes Turner as a partner and will build the firm’s new family law team. Services include advice for people experiencing separation or divorce, issues involving children and expertise in complex financial matters.

Linsell, who is an accredited mediator, has also been accredited as a specialist by the family law organisation Resolution for his work on complex financial matters on divorce and issues affecting unmarried families.

"Paul is well known as a lawyer who will do his upmost to find the best solutions for families," says Jonathan Grigg, Boyes Turner’s managing partner. "At Boyes Turner we take a holistic approach, where we take the time to listen and understand our clients’ needs. That is exactly how Paul works, and we are delighted that he has become part of our team."

"I am often supporting people during one of the most stressful and challenging periods of their lives. As well as advising on the legal issues, I help my clients find any other support they need, ranging from therapists to financial advisers, so that they and their families can move forward with their lives in the best manner possible. I will always encourage my clients to adopt a constructive approach that considers the whole family, while offering robust support every step of the way," says Linsell.

"I passionately believe that if it is done in the right way, family law can make a huge difference to people’s lives and to our wider communities. A family breakdown has a huge impact on everyone involved, particularly children. If we can manage the process in a better way, and in a way that reduces the trauma experienced, particularly by children, we can make a profound difference."

Commenting on why he has made the move to Boyes Turner, Linsell added: "Boyes Turner is known as an innovative firm, which is open to new ideas, and has built up a wealth of expertise in areas that will add further benefit to clients in need of family law services. I am excited about building up its new family law team. I can’t wait to get started."
