Hedges Law welcomes new Dispute Resolution solicitor
Matthew Cotton (pictured) has recently joined the Dispute Resolution team at Hedges Law, with the team seeing a significant increase in dispute resolution matters in light of the "pandemic fallout and the post-Brexit disruption and change".
Matthew Cotton's expertise lies in advising business owners; current themes include ‘fire and re-hire’ employee advice, order fulfilment difficulties, supply chain disputes and commercial property advice.
In May of this year, Hedges Law launched Hedgeholding, its employee ownership scheme, becoming only the fifth law firm in the UK to be employee-owned. Matthew Cotton joins as the 45th owner of the business.
Earlier this month Hedges also welcomed two new trainee solicitors, Ella Swanwick and James Overton, both of whom were previously paralegals at Hedges.
Hedges Law has clients throughout the UK, with business hubs in Oxford and Wallingford and plans to open one in Cheltenham. The firm offers family and property law advice, dispute resolution, as well as advising on wills, probate and inheritance planning.
