Homebuilder Bloor Homes has acquired the South Winchester Golf Club from Crown Golf Property and plans to reshape it into a new housing complex, set to include 1,000 new homes, a park and ride facility, a primary school, public open space, and sports pitches.

While the terms of the deal remain confidential, the golf course will continue to be in use until 2025.
