Fareham: Amiri Construction starts £3.5m office building for Bizspace
Fareham-based Amiri Construction has commenced a £3.46 million project to build a three-storey office block that, when completed in July 2019, will provide accommodation for up to 74 businesses. It is the first purpose-built office for its client, London-based Bizspace, which offers more than 100 locations for commercial rental across the UK.
Nick Smith, development director at Bizspace, was joined by Amiri director Mark Vincent, Dave Gee, construction manager, and senior site manager Ian Johnson to celebrate the start of the project designed by Gloucester-based architects Roberts Limbrick.
“This beautiful location deserves a new-build office space and the finished building that will help solve the lack of business space in the area,” said Smith.
For Amiri, the site is one of the nearest sites to its Segensworth base that it has helped develop. Amiri is also constructing the £3.9m extension to the Locks Heath Free Church which is also within a 1.3 mile radius of the head office.
