Obsidian Strategic seek planning for 105 000sqm warehouse project
Property developers Obsidian Strategic have announced their intention to construct five warehouses amounting to 105,000 sq m of floorspace between Hook and Odiham.
The Lodge Farm plans are also to include installation of charging points for 200 electric vehicles.
The planning application has not yet been submitted, but some documents have been released online ahead of a pre-application meeting with planners.
Hart District Council is now set to meet developers to discuss how to advance the planning application.
The council has, The Business Magazine understand, already prepared a report on issues such as waste water drainage, flooding, archaeology and environmental issues associated with the site.
A number of objections have already been raised however Obsidian Strategic confirmed their intention to progress their plans: "To enable access and the free flow of traffic, as well as improved footways, pedestrian crossings, and cycle and pedestrian routes between Odiham and Hook”.
