Panattoni agrees Aylesford relocation deal
Logistics real estate developer Panattoni has signed an agreement with pitched roof specialists Marley. The deal will see Marley relocating to Panattoni Park Aylesford, while Panattoni take over Marley’s site in Wrotham.
The 9,945 square foot design-and-build facility will be let to Marley on a long-term lease. The facility is expected to be ready for Marley in quarter one of 2023.
The proximity of the new site to Marley’s existing premises allow the company to remain in the Tonbridge and Malling district and retain current staff.
The pre-let at Panattoni Park follows similar deals involving DHL, Fowler Welch and Evri, while further units are currently under offer. Panattoni are currently working on opening a modern logistics park on the former Aylseford Newsprint site.

The other half of the deal sees Panattoni acquire Marley’s site in Wrotham, close to junction 2A of the M26. Panattoni intends to submit a planning application later this year to transform the building into a speculative logistics development.
Tony Watkins, Development Director at Panattoni, said: “We are delighted to have agreed a deal with Marley that enables the company to relocate to a new facility and stay in the area and retain its workforce.
“We look forward to delivering the new bespoke facility for a local occupier and have the company operational later this year, along with bringing a new development forward for other occupiers to grow. This is our fourth letting at Aylesford and justifies our confidence in Aylesford”.
