NEW HQ: Serocor Group, a recruitment and human capital management solutions group, has signed a 10-year lease at Shore House, Compass Road, North Harbour Business Park, Portsmouth. Property consultancy Vail Williams acquired the space for Serocor.

A headquarters building in Portsmouth has a new occupier in a deal through property consultancy Vail Williams LLP.

Serocor Group, a recruitment and human capital management solutions group, has signed a 10-year lease at Shore House, Compass Road, North Harbour Business Park, a popular and diverse office development located to the north of Portsmouth.

An eight-week fit-out of the 9,720 sq ft first floor office, undertaken by Vibe Business Interiors, focused on further improving the working environment for staff as well as reflecting the positive culture embraced by the Group.

The office will be able to cater for up to 200 desks to facilitate the Group’s ongoing growth plans.

Principal activities of the Group are the supply of specialist technology, IT, digital marketing and engineering staff on contract and permanent basis, together with the provision of related learning and development services.

Shore House will be the Group’s head office as well as the principal trading location for its two core UK brands, Advanced Resource Managers (ARM) and Optamor.

Alex Gauntlett, a surveyor at Vail Williams, acquired the space for Serocor, liaising directly with Andy Goodridge from landlord Forelle Estates.

Gauntlett said: “Serocor requested our search-and-relocate service and we were able to quickly identify Shore House as a high-quality office benefitting from car parking and close proximity to Junction 12 of the M27.”

Mike Gawthorne, chief executive of Serocor Group, said: “As a people-centric organisation our priority was to find new head office premises which could support our growth and reflected our culture as we enter the next exciting phase in our business evolution.

“We also required high-quality office accommodation close to the commuter route of the M27 in order to provide convenient access for our staff and clients alike. Vail Williams delivered the goods for us all with Shore House.”
