Three new industrial units are being built on spec in Burgess Hill’s popular Hub Business Park, as Sussex continues to suffer from a lack of warehouse space.

Property consultancy Vail Williams has been appointed by Glenbeigh Developments, of Haywards Heath, to market the Plot 2 units off-plan for letting or sale.

The three units, due for completion next October by Harmonix Construction, are at the front of the established Hub Business Park, conveniently fronting Cuckfield Road and just a mile from the A23. The M23/Crawley is less than 10 miles.

Ranging from 10,780 sq ft (1,001.49 sq m) to 38,660 sq ft (3,591.6 sq m), the units are available individually or together.

The 36.9 acre Hub is located in Burgess Hill, a commercial centre, with occupiers including DPD, Porsche, Roche, Edwards Vacuum, ILG, and HPC. There is consent for a further 400,000 sq ft of development.

The location is also attracting substantial investment, including the 3,500 residential units at Homes England’s Northern Arc development and continuing proposals for a 1.4m sq ft science park.

Steve Berrett, Vail Williams Partner based in Crawley, said:

“Demand for quality industrial/warehouse units continues to greatly outstrip supply right across Sussex and this speculative build will add vital stock to the market."

Vail Williams are joint agents with DTRE and Graves Jenkins.

Vail Williams’ full-service property advice includes property valuation, planning and lease advice, investment and development expertise, property asset management and occupier consultancy.
