Reading: Spectrum Corporate Finance appoints London managing director
Spectrum Corporate Finance has announced that Mark Farlow has recently joined the team as a managing director, based in the London office.
Previously a partner at Catalyst Corporate Finance, Farlow played a major part in the growth of the business prior to its sale to Alantra in 2017. Farlow is an experienced and well-respected Corporate Finance professional with an extensive history of advising entrepreneurs through business sales, acquisitions and MBO’s, specialising in the mid-market.
Following his graduation from the University of Leeds, Farlow started his career at Grant Thornton, where he was made partner at the age of 29. In 2001 Mark joined KPMG Corporate Finance as a partner in Milton Keynes, then moved to London in 2005 to build on his activity with the private equity community. In 2013, Farlow joined Catalyst Corporate Finance, now Alantra, as a partner in London.
Farlow has advised on many notable deals during his career including the acquisition of Travelopia from TUI by KKR, the sale of The Automated Technology Group (ATG) to Wood Group, the sale of Bluefin Solutions to Mindtree and the sale of Consol Partners to Empresaria.
Since opening in December 2016, Spectrum’s London office has grown significantly and in 2018 relocated to larger offices in Broadwick Street in Soho.
