Marden Edwards collaborates on SETA apprenticeship programme
Wimborne-based packaging machines manufacturer Marden Edwards has invested in apprenticeship schemes with Bournemouth & Poole College and the Southampton Engineering Training Association (SETA). Through its collaborations with the colleges the company nurtures young students, guiding and training them to become valuable members of its team.
Marden Edwards has also collaborated with SETA to promote its apprenticeship programme by providing a testimonial and featured in a case study for its website. The testimonial highlighted the positive experience the company enjoys from its partnership with SETA, as well as the sense of pride it feels helping students turn their dreams and aspirations into lifelong careers.
In the case study, apprentice Max said: “My personal highlight so far would be becoming competent in what I do. This has increased since starting with Marden Edwards. My manager now trusts me to be left alone to complete jobs knowing that the tasks will be carried out safely and correctly. This gives me a great feeling of satisfaction.”
