Spring Business Park, Havant

Commercial property developer Kingsbridge Estates has welcomed occupiers into the last available units at Spring Business Park, Havant – bringing the scheme to 100 per cent let just 18 months after it was built.

The development of 12 high quality commercial units on the site of the former Buttericks factory at the New Lane Industrial Estate, was completed in November 2021, as part of the developer’s commitment to meeting demand for high-quality, sustainable business space in the south.

In the last of a flurry of lettings, Kingsbridge Estates has let the final remaining space – Unit 8 – to supply chain provider DASIS Partners, which supports companies in the automotive, aerospace and defence sectors through design, project management and manufacturing services. The letting is the result of expansion by the business, which already occupies Unit 5 at the site.

In addition, Unit 10 is now let to robotics specialist Solent Automation, which offers affordable end-of-line robotic packing and palletising automation systems and was previously based in Whiteley.

They join existing tenants at Spring Business Park including Gabriel Insulation Services and Southern Artificial Grass.

Spring Park’s two terraces of units were built with sustainability in mind, with features including electric vehicle charging facilities, low energy lighting, an A-rated Energy Performance Certificate and a “Very Good” BREEAM environmental assessment rating.

The project was built speculatively by Kingsbridge Estates, with Amiri Construction as the main contractor. CBRE and Vail Williams were joint letting agents.
