AJW Aviation appoint new CEO
Horsham-based AJW Aviation has announced the appointment of Rachael Caston as Chief Executive Officer.
Ms Caston, who has an honours degree in Aeronautical Engineering, an MA in Strategic and International Defence, and qualifications in strategic leadership and management from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), will assume the role from September 1.
Ms Caston said: “I am honoured to have been appointed as the CEO of AJW Aviation. It is a privilege to be joining an organisation that delivers such innovative, high-quality solutions to a customer base that spans the world.

She joins the aircraft parts specialists from the Civil Aviation Authority, where she led the UK Airprox Board at Royal Air Force Norton. Her previous career in aviation includes active service as a professional pilot, Executive Officer and Commanding Officer in the RAF, along with corporate experience transforming businesses and leading teams.
Ms Caston will take responsibility for the operational teams at AJW and drive the Group strategy in conjunction with the Board and Senior Leadership Team. The Board will continue to lead the business, with Ms Caston’s appointment enabling the Board to focus deeply on strategic initiatives for growth and diversification.
