Recycling Technologies announces appointment of new non-executive director
Swindon-based, Recycling Technologies has announced that Alice Cummings has joined the board as a non-executive director and chair of the audit and risk committee, bringing to the company over 30 years’ strategic, operational, accountancy and risk-management leadership experience.
Cummings is an experienced non-executive and executive director in medium and large private and listed companies. She is a proven group chief financial officer and has held a number of senior accountancy and financial roles in corporates such as South West Water and AEA Technology. She has industry expertise in engineering, technology, energy efficiency and the environment. Some of her senior roles today include non-executive director at aim-listed Idox Plc, and non-executive director at South Staffordshire Water plc.
Commenting on the appointment, Cummings said: “Recycling Technologies is an exciting company playing an important role to make plastics sustainable. I am delighted to join as a non-executive director at this important time in the company’s growth and commercialisation phase.”
