With this being National Apprenticeship Week 2021, LRG, one of the largest property services groups in the UK, is supporting apprenticeships with a range of upskilling opportunities available nationwide.
The theme for National Apprenticeship Week this year is ‘Building the Future’ and LRG is passionate about equipping the next generation of the property industry in-line with high industry standards.
LRG currently offers six main apprenticeships:
- Level 3 Housing & Property Management – gains ARLA membership upon completion
- Level 2 Junior Estate Agent
- Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor
- Level 2 Business admin
- Level 3 HR Support
- Level 5 HR Consultant Partner
All of the opportunities aim to upskill staff so that they can progress in their chosen fields and excel in the industry.
Leaders offer a range of apprenticeships that allow candidates to learn from peers and be involved in hands-on training, day in and day out. Currently, the most popular offering is the Level 3 Housing & Property Management apprenticeship which includes ARLA membership as a professional qualification, which will soon become mandatory within the industry. This involves ongoing training while in a business role and by the end of the program the candidate will have the opportunity to implement changes in the business.
Training and assessment, depending on the apprenticeship that is being undertaken, typically lasts between 15 and 18 months.
There are no specific qualifications required except for Maths and English, but candidates will need to have at least one year of experience in the field relating to their chosen apprenticeship for Level 3 and above.
Apprenticeships are available nationwide and to any age group
To apply readers can review Leaders job openings online or get in touch with their local branch. As long as they have enough experience once in the role, they can then contact the Learning team who will start their enrolment process.
The majority of Leaders apprenticeships are available on a rolling basis; there is no set closing date so they can begin at any time.
Dawn Avis, training and apprenticeship coordinator at Leaders: “We are passionate about investing in our staff, and apprenticeships are fantastic for people of all ages and levels who wish to upskill in a practical environment. Here at Leaders, candidates can expect to learn from their industry peers in a supportive environment, continuously put new knowledge into practice, and actually see the impact they have on the business. We greatly support the awareness that National Apprenticeship Week brings across sectors, and for 2021, the message ‘building the future’ means more to us than just hiring new talent. It also means providing our workforce with the training and tools they need to grow within their role.”
