Thames Valley: BDB Pitmans and Chamber host restart webinar
On Tuesday July 14 at 12pm, law firm BDB Pitmans will be hosting another webinar on behalf of the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce on ‘Considerations for a successful restart’.BDB Pitmans will discuss certain practical considerations for businesses looking to restart and/or exit lock-down and consider certain legislative tools, old and new, to assist in ensuring continuing trading.
Restructuring and corporate partners, Alexander Wood and Rob Chidley from BDB Pitmans will present on options for restarting businesses coming out of COVID, with different restructuring processes that might be used.
This will be followed by a panel session, chaired by Suzanne Brooker who heads up the firm’s national restructuring team, with panellists James Finnis from JLL, global real estate managers, and Robert Ross from Xpediator plc, a pan-European logistics firm, invited to give their thoughts on trading through this time, their own approach to managing lockdown and the restart and to answer questions from the audience.
During the presentation the speakers and panel will explore the key opportunities and issues for maintaining and revitalising businesses as the lockdown starts to lift and economic activity starts to return.
As well as more traditional means of securing on-going support and engaging with stakeholders, COVID has prompted new measures and mechanisms to be brought in - some temporary, some permanent.
